ChallENG research goals
- Develop fermentation and distillation facilities, and then go on to create products and processes for a diversity of foods and beverages
- Support research and development, and teaching and learning in food science, chemical engineering, and beyond, as well as collaboration with a range of industry partners
Research, design or technical ChallENG
- The development of pilot scale fermentation/distillation facilities, and early projects in product and process design
- Design product and process development for a range of fermented and distilled beverages, with the potential to extend into fermented food products
All engineering degrees are welcome, though students specialising in the below areas are particularly encouraged to apply.
