Accenture x Pollinate Group

Current project
Pollinate Group

The Challenge

Across India and Nepal 256 million people live in extreme poverty, on less than US$1.90 a day. Pollinate Group empowers women as leaders of change to distribute household products, such as solar lights and cooking appliances, that improve health, save time and save money for the world’s most neglected communities. To this day Pollinate has reached 631,000 people, trained 650 women and saved 5,173 tonnes of CO2 emissions. In 2018 we completed a merger with another last-mile distributor from Nepal called Empower Generation, and since then have been integrating and developing our activities in India and Nepal. A major project of this merger has been adopting a new approach to product distribution, wherein Pollinate recruits and trains women entrepreneurs as the main interface between Pollinate and customers.

We are seeking a team that will help us improve our data capture capabilities, and innovate a novel systematic data collection method on a mobile platform.
